NATURE OF WORK: To perform responsible support work to chemically dependent patients/clients. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years old with three years of driving experience for corporate driving insurability
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License & proof of personal auto insurance

Assessor
Ridgewood Avenue Outpatient Facility - 1 full-time
Daytona Beach, FL

NATURE OF WORK: This is responsible and specialized direct service work with adults. Clients are substance abusers who may be dually diagnosed or possess additional diagnostic disabilities. Work involves scheduling appointments, conducting biopsychosocial evaluations and determining appropriate disposition for care to assist the client in achieving recovery goals. Work includes interacting with the Admissions Team, advocating with community providers and referral agents and linking clients with appropriate services. This position may also be required to provide substance abuse group education/therapy services.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
  • Bachelors Degree in a Human Service field with three years of related experience
  • Eligible or certified as a CAP in the State of Florida
  • Considerable knowledge of clinical assessment process, treatment planning, individual, group and family therapy. Ability to quickly and accurately assess and diagnose persons for treatment; ability to formulate realistic goals and objectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with suicidal, mentally, emotionally, and/or psychologically disturbed clients in person and over the telephone.
  • Excellent computer and time management skills
  • Possession of a Florida driver's license, proof of personal automobile insurance and an acceptable driving record

Preferred:

  • Masters Degree or equivalency in a Human Service field with one year of related experience
  • CAP in the state of Florida
Any person with an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the appropriate level of knowledge, abilities and skills related to the twelve core functions of addictions treatment can be considered for this position with review and approval of the Executive Director and his/her designee.
 
RANGE: $24,960. to $26,000. DOE
 

Counselor I
Stone Street Residential Facility for Men - 1 full-time

Work involves responsibility for client advocacy, assessments, screening, monitoring, and development of individual case management plans and assisting clients in achieving recovery goals. Work includes advocating with community providers and referral agents and linking clients with appropriate services.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
  • Bachelors Degree in a Human Service field with three years of related experience
  • Eligible or certified as a CAP in the State of Florida
  • Ability to work evenings for groups
  • Possession of a Florida driver's license, proof of personal automobile insurance and an acceptable driving record

Preferred:

  • Masters Degree in a Human Service field with two years of related experience
  • CAP in the state of Florida

Haven Recovery Center offers an extensive benefit package for full-time employees, including 100% employer paid health and life insurance, 9 paid holidays, 3 weeks vacation after 1 year of service, an excellent EAP program and more! Temporary positions do not include benefits.   Applicants must be 21 years old* with a minimum 3 years driving history, and possess a valid Florida drivers license. Proof of personal auto insurance coverage and a satisfactory motor vehicle record, drug test and background screening required. *(insurance requirements prohibit drivers under the age of 25 from driving 15 passenger vans).
